We work with a range of talented individuals/small organisations to develop their brands. First, we will discover the unique voice, the market environment, key considerations and the appropriate tone. Then we bring this to life visually. It’s an exciting process for everyone.

Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology & New Zealand’s Plant & Food Research
For over 20 years, this partnership has focused on creating a world-first apples and pear breeding programme for hot/warming climates. This inspired an identity filled with symbols and elements within an appropriate corporate tone. Applications included a website, PowerPoint presentations, pull-up banners and pins.

BlueGreen
BlueGreen provides proven ecological expertise. Innovative thinking and the relationship between the natural and built environments were reflected in this identity by the juxtaposition of colour placement in the logotype, down to the typographic line shapes, which contain subtle birds and fish. Applications ranged from a website to PowerPoint templates.

Barry Jordan
Barry Jordan is a respected commercial and financial specialist. This identity strongly reflects this. Barry’s financial background demanded a mathematically perfect font, while the lens that Barry applies is reflected in the circular BPJ stamp. The straight-on focus in the symmetrical image reflects the balance in mediations. Applications ranged from a website to business cards and notepads.

Trustees Executors
Trustees Executors provides private wealth, corporate supervision, and fund administration services. Our brief was to evolve the original logo (retaining the heritage) and create simple sub-brands. The textures bring together the old and new, with financial connotations (a nod to old bank notes) combined with modern, vibrant colours in innovative swirls. Applications included business cards, ad templates, and everything in between, from pull-up banners to vehicle graphics.

Jack is acknowledged as one of the country’s foremost litigators. This identity positions Jack at this gold standard, and the words ‘Clarity, focus, judgement, and experience’ further elevate the tone. Identity applications ranged from a website, business cards, interior plaques, to advertisements.

SixStar provides training scholarships for hotel management, so this identity was centred around encouraging and enabling people to apply so they could achieve their dreams. It is vibrant, positive, and aspirational. Applications ranged from a website and photography to forms, work books, explainers, business cards and gold pins.

To reflect the innovative way this Building Code specialist thinks, we turned the K on its side. This clever twist also symbolises hands/wood coming together, and turns your typical house shape on its head. This identity was very apt for a creative, lateral thinker. Identity applications included a website and business cards.

JXB's superconducting plasma thruster produces spacecraft propulsion systems that will make travel into deep space more economical. This called for an identity that is dynamic, fast, and futuristic, with whooshing movement and bold, clear type. Applications ranged from PowerPoint templates to business cards.

As spectroscopy is the study of objects/materials based on colour patterns (wavelengths), our brief was to incorporate a specific spectrum of colours. This was a ‘wildcard’ design option, where we paired the rainbow with a hummingbird whose wing movement is synonymous with speed. This identity was extended to a PowerPoint template and business cards.
