About
Toitū Te Waiora’s role is helping improve workforce development in the community, health, education and social services sectors in Aotearoa. This involves identifying the skillsets that are needed and supporting standards setting and qualifications development.
We were engaged to help visualise their strategic direction, and apply and extend a recent brand refresh across a range of corporate documents, including their annual report.
Approach
Toitū Te Waiora is a small organisation with a big impact.
The annual report concept focused on communicating the very broad range of sectors supported by their work, and the positive impacts for both the workers themselves and the communities they serve.
Imagery that evokes connection brings a human element to the important mahi that the organisation does, and how it translates to tangible benefits for communities across Aotearoa.
Representing sectors whose contribution is often overlooked, the bold colours highlight the impact of the work they do.
Outcomes
The people that the mahi is ultimately for are proudly portrayed throughout the document, generating empathy and allowing the audience to clearly understand the value of Toitū Te Waiora’s work.
Workers are able to see themselves represented and feel a sense of pride in their contribution, which impacts lives far beyond their own.
Readers who are unfamiliar with Toitū Te Waiora are reminded of the importance not only of these roles in society, but of the need to set standards and ensure consistency and quality over the way their work is carried out.
