Publications – Commerce Commission

About
The Commerce Commission is responsible for promoting competition and efficiency within the retail payment system. They are New Zealand’s primary competition, fair trading, consumer credit and economic regulatory agency. Using their existing brand, we applied this across a range of documents and reports.

We recently designed this Telecommunications Monitoring Report, aligning it with newly established brand styles.

Approach
The design template we created aligned with the new brand style guide provided, but we also took the time to see how we could create (within these styles) a document that had some similarities in structure and layout to the previous year's document, to retain some visual link for the reader, as it is produced annually. It was really a merging of the best of both worlds! Various digital items were created.

Outcomes
The result is a clean and easy to navigate document that effectively communicates the content.

By supporting the supplied brand, we also helped to reinforce the message that the Commerce Commission are a dependable organisation that ensures fairness within the trading sector, in which New Zealanders can place their trust.
