About
The Master Builders Apprentice of the Year, in Partnership with CARTERS, is the leading apprentice competition for the building and construction sector.
It recognises excellence among carpentry apprentices and raises awareness of career opportunities in the building and construction industry.
Approach
We were asked to create a new brand for the awards. The brand was founded on the principles of excellence, growth, and striving for greatness. The logo components link strongly to the building sector, and the brand elements and colours are designed to resonate with a younger audience.
Outcomes
The brand is highly memorable, playing its part in the recognition the competition has developed across the building sector and beyond.
It is striking and flexible – effective in both the collateral supporting the competition – entry guides, promotion, invitations etc – and in signage and other event collateral during the practical competitions and awards functions.
The calibre of contestants is an indication of the growing success of this competition. It supports young talent and continues to grow.
